Welcome to The Artist Workshop, a program of Brave New World Enterprises in collaboration with The Shyan Selah Foundation. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, programs, events, and services. By accessing our site or participating in any of our programs, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, attending, or participating in any event, workshop, or activity hosted by The Artist Workshop, you agree to these Terms and our accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or attend our events.
2. Program Participation
The Artist Workshop provides educational and entertainment-based programming designed to support youth, young adults, and emerging professionals interested in the arts and entertainment industries. Participation in any of our events, workshops, or related activities is voluntary and subject to registration approval.
3. Refund and Cancellation Policy
No Refunds Within 24 Hours: All ticket sales and registration fees for workshops and events are strictly non-refundable if cancellation or request for refund is made within twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled start time of the event.
General Cancellations: Refund requests made prior to the 24-hour window may be granted at our discretion, subject to administrative fees.
Event Changes & Force Majeure: The Artist Workshop reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule workshops, or change featured speakers and venues, due to unforeseen circumstances, low enrollment, or force majeure events. In the event of a full cancellation by us where no rescheduled date is offered, a full refund will be issued.
4. Intellectual Property
All materials shared during workshops—including but not limited to videos, presentations, audio content, graphics, and written materials—are the intellectual property of The Artist Workshop, Brave New World Enterprises, or their respective creators. These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.
5. Event Documentation and Media Release
The Artist Workshop regularly documents its events through photography, video, and audio recording for promotional, archival, and educational purposes.
By registering for and/or attending any Artist Workshop event, you acknowledge and agree that your image, voice, and likeness may be recorded and used by The Artist Workshop, The Shyan Selah Foundation, and Brave New World Enterprises for use in media recaps, marketing materials, social media, press, and other promotional communications without further notice or compensation.
If you prefer not to appear in such materials, please notify a staff member upon check-in at the event.
6. Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates this policy without refund or recourse.
7. Liability Waiver
Participation in any Artist Workshop event is at your own risk. The Artist Workshop, Brave New World Enterprises, and The Shyan Selah Foundation are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur during any event or while using our website.
8. Third-Party Links
Our website may include links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for the content, security, or practices of those sites. Accessing third-party content is at your own discretion.
9. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. All changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued participation or use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
